Im currently running a 2010 GT Avalanche 3.0 but its time for an upgrade of forks, im interested in rock shox as i have had them before and liked them alot. I have £200 - 250 to spend and alot of the sites online have some great deals so am confident i can grab a bargain.

at the moment my leading choice is the Tora 302 u turn but i am worried i can get abit better performance if i spend a little more cash, ive also seen the domain and recon forks that look interestingm can anyone help with my choice ?

Rock Shox are nice. Also Check out Marzocchi, and Manitou.

For this price you will not get a top fork, but the Tora is viable. A lot depends upon what you want. I would not go for variable adjustment, just keep it simple. Lock out and rebound should do. If you can get air, as opposed to spring, then do so. A great weight saving and the ability to alter the pressure is viable. But overall, the Tora is not bad. (Have a look at Rutlandcylcing. They are having a fork sale at the moment)

Check out Web www.salemountainbikes.com. Should have the answer to or you should study for more information about mtb bikes.
