Question regarding what bike to choose (Tricross or Crossrip)
Hi I'm a newbie regarding bikes and I would like to ask for help on what to choose from these two bikes.
The pricing here in my country is different, and I'm not sure what I should choose for my money since it's a bit expensive for me.

1) Specialized Tricross Sport disc ($1389.22)
http://www.specialized.com/us/en/bik...ort-disc#specs

2) Trek Crossrip Elite(also with disc) ($1129.45) http://www.trekbikes.com/us/en/bikes...crossrip_elite

now what bike among the two will be worth the money to spend for?
thank you.

some additional info below.

-I used google to convert the currency.
-Bike will be use for short to middle distance touring and for commuting probably with gravels or unpaved roads.
-I live in Philippines's capital city where road are not as good as 1st world country's roads.
-I don't really like MTB.
-reason why I chose sport over elite or comp is because it gets more expensive.

Neither of your links works, but cyclocross bikes are not ideal for touring, they don't have sufficiently low gearing for loaded hill climbing and they sometimes don't have mounting points for racks and mudguards. For touring, buy a touring bike, I don't think either of those bikes is suitable for the type of riding you want to do. Touring bikes will accept cyclocross tires and are just as capable on unpaved roads as a 'cross bike

They are pretty close to being the same bike. I would also check out other manufacturers and take a look at Touring bikes. The Specialized is more of a Touring bike then the Trek.

I would go with the Trek. For the kind of "touring" that you plan to do it will be fine.
