How do you regulars here put up with these questions?

Question: How long will it take me to ride 10 miles on my bicycle?
Answer: Do it for yourself & find out.

Question: Which of these two bikes is better? (Asker list 2 bikes nearly identical)
Answer: Buy the blue one.

Question: How much air does a bicycle tire hold?
Answer: Keep pumping until it pops. Then go buy another tube & read what’s on the sidewall of the tire.

Question: Where can I buy a bicycle tube?
Answer: At Macy’s! Duh! Ever heard of a bicycle shop?

Question: Is this a good fixie?
Answer? Good & fixie don’t mix. Take the bike you now own, put it high gear. Ta Da…you (almost) have a fixie. Try climbing that big hill in your neighborhood.

Question: Where can I find a good dirt bike around 150cc?
Answer: For the millionth time…ask in the MOTORCYCLE section.

Question: I haven’t ridden a bike in 10 years. Today I took a two hour ride. My butt hurts. Why?
Answer: Fill in the sarcastic answer of your choice. Too many to list here.

Question: What size bike should I get…24” wheels or 26” wheels? I’m 5’ 11” tall.
Answer: Get some training wheels on a 20” bike.

Question: How many calories did I burn riding my bicycle two miles?
Answer: None. You could burn more calories sitting on the sofa watching Oprah.

Question: I’m in good shape. Yet guys on road bikes pass me all the time. Why is that? I have a NEXT Power Climber full suspension bike from Walmart.
Answer: Again… fill in the sarcastic answer of your choice. Too many to list here.

Question: Which is better, a Huffy cruiser or a NEXT cruiser?
Answer: Take your $100 or less & flush it down the toilet. The result will be the same.

Question: How much to repair my bicycle? I have no idea what’s wrong with it.
Answer: Neither do I.

Question: I need a good road bike. My budget is $150. Where can I find one?
Answer: In your dreams.

I do find many people have never heard o f the search bar there are are repeat simple questions in every section. And sometime I find the best thing is to just ignore them (in the beauty section its always "How do look?" or "Rate me from 1 to 10")

Yet there are some that are just do not understand where to start with something so there questions will seem "stupid". If I sense someone is really looking to learn I will answer those questions sincerely.

A $100 Walmart bike is like flushing your money away. You might be able to get a decent, used road bike for $150 on Craig's List. And I will order some tubes next time I order a skirt from Macy's ;)

On occasion, I just can't resist a snide reply, a lot of the time I don't bother, the person who is asking the question is only looking for an answer that agrees with their opinion. The ones that really get to me is some person posting over and over for an opinion on a bunch of junky old bikes on craigslist. They never seem to clue in that the good deals go fast, much too fast for the person to act after getting a bunch of opinions here.

Believe me - sometimes I feel like giving exactly those same answers. When it gets to be "too much", I take a day or two off from this website. Think this section is bad? Wander over to the wrestling section some time. People over there think the WWE is real! They refuse to believe the outcome of every match is predetermined. What part of World Wresting ENTERTAINMENT don't they get?
