160 kilometres every day for days on end, up and down hills and mountains, all at an average speed in excess of 30kmh. Is this wimpish? No, its road racing.

soccer - I hate Manchester United and Rangers Baseball - uninteresting Basketball - Wimps activity for tall people who are not problematical adequate for Rugby Cheerleading - that may not even a sport Swimming - so which you are going to no longer be able to handle, bypass swimming Wrestling - Like rolling around the floor with different men. Very suss Boxing - i will bypass, Boxing's the ultimate cycling - wearing spray on outfits. Very suss Tennis - Refer swimming Yoga - Hippy music - uninteresting

I have answered few questions burning for an answer like this one. My bikes are black and I don't have a front derailleur so I have to reach down to change gears. Not too wimpy. I never wanted to cycle because the seats looked like a**l probes but now that I think of it that's not too wimpy if you're cycling. Urban cycling requires you to carry a motorcycle chain to lock up your bike. Not too wiimpy. And the chain is heavier than the bike. Not wimpy. Prancing around in tights on a stage is wimpy. I don't ride on a stage. Not wimpy?

go ride 100 miles a day or more and then ask if it for wimps. Or try 2100 miles in three weeks or how ever long the tour is. you must not ride often. or you would have your answer

This question would only be asked by someone who has never spent any length of time in the saddle. Try going over 4 mountain passes in a day and then answer your own question.

Biking 160km is not for wimps! Nor is biking 320kms!
So, no cycling is not a wimp sport. it can be extremely demanding.

NO,not at all as long as you have a good seat.Though i think they should sell advertisement space on their Butts, since thats the only thing pointing right at you when you try to drive by one.

only views by those who haven't tried it.
Cycling can be as hard, or easy as you make it.
