I ride my road bike to the gym in the early morning so it's dark and I ran over something. I'm guessing a crack in the road as I didn't see any debris on the road. But now when ever I hit around 15 mph or higher it feels like I'm hitting a small bump in the road. I didn't see any damage to the tire or the rim. Just casual riding you can't feel it just when im doing 15mph or higher. Any thoughts on what this might be it also feels like it is on the back tire.

Check for something in the tire. If I feel a bump or hear a click I stop and brush the tire clean because is usually a rock imbedded in the tire and it will cause a flat if you dont.

Second cause could be some torn cords. Spin the wheel and watch for a bump.

The tire may not be seated on the rim properly.

Lift the back wheel off the ground and spin it. Check to see if the wheel rolls true and round. Hitting that bump might have put a flat spot in your rim or damaged the tire

Thx dude I'd like to send you the money to buy a beer, seeing you're proved what I have been saying for months.

ROAD BIKES BIT AS COMMUTERS, HITTING A POT HOLE CAN CAUSE ALL SORTS OF PROBLEMS.
