What tires should I use my fixie?

I like to skid. I would like an inexpensive tire that will last a long time.

Continental Gatorskins are good. As are Specialized Armadillos.



You might want to pick a gear ration that gives you more skid patches, or rotate your tyre on the wheel every couple of months.



And please don't use *that* word.

You get what you pay for- inexpensive tyres are usually a false economy because they just don't last.

buy some maxxis hook worms if you can they are ultra hard wearing. or some nokian street tyres.
