I am looking for a 2007 Women's Specialized Stumpjumper FSR Comp in either a medium or small sized frame. I live in Atlanta, GA, and I cannot find anywhere that will either ship the bike to me or that is close enough (within 200 miles) that I could pick it up. PLEASE help!

The Maestro suspension design on the Giant blows away anything Spec has to offer, and it does it through design rather than shock settings. I'm not sure if the current FSR still uses a proprietary rear shock size, but they did for a long time and it's a pain in the butt to buy a new one anywhere but a Spec dealer if that's the case. They're both nice rides and the FSR has been around a long time...good bike. I'd pick the Giant in this case, though. And you should also check out what GT has to offer...their i-drive suspension is probably in a close tie with Maestro for the best, and GT puts out some excellent new bike specs for the price. Since you're looking at full suss bikes, consider the ease of getting frame/pivot parts in the future, and the warranty history of the companies you're interested in. Specialized can come through, but they're a royal hassle sometimes. Giant and GT are fairly liberal when warranty claims arise and work hard to make you happy just like Trek and Jamis.
