No, it's not a good bike, not even for a beginner, and I say that simply based on the fact that it only comes in 1 size. In cycling, one size does NOT fit all!
The proper size bike is a sheer pleasure to ride, and the wrong size, pure torture. And there's a lot more involved in determining the proper fit than just how tall you are.
I would recommend you go to a reputable bike shop and at least have a chat with a knowledgable employee about the type of riding you plan on doing to get some input, and assistance in determining the type of bike that might suit you best, as well measuring you for the proper fit.

no not a good bike, cheap brand & made from cheap & heavy parts and you probly wouldnt enjoy riding it, for a good bike look at £300+
thers one i got from halfords a few months back, a red cerrera for £250 so thats only £90 more than that argos one..go on halfords website & have a look i recon it`s crackin value for money and love to ride it & it`s verry well made, it`s a little heavy hence the price but thers people who i know who have spent hundreds of pounds just for the bike to be abit lighter...
anyway good luck, but try up ya budjet abit from £160 & get summot diecent

Not really. It's a bottom end road bike. Only if that's the best you can afford.

its a racer.. so the thing is, you'll have to learn about balancing with them pedals etc
I'm assuming you have cycled before? if not perhaps something a bit more basic, then progress onto that.
it's balance anyway, once you sort that your laughing =)
