He's going to be having a surgery. Now, do you think there is any chance that he'll come and win the TDF yet again? He was supposed to compete in the Giro too. Is it possible for him to get back into shape for the Giro which is in May? I feel so bad for this guy :(

i think he'll be back for the Giro. its 4-6 weeks recovery thats around beginning of may with a fast recovery. i hope he is in the Giro so it would mean he'll be ready for the TDF. he'll be in alot better form having ridden the Giro.

as for the TDF, LEvi will win this. Evans in top 4 and Armstrong in the top 10.

He will not likely compete in the Giro, but will be ready for the TDF. He is scheduled for surgery today (3-25) and will probably have a plate put in. I would expect him to be back in the training rooms in a few days. I'm sure part of the recovery will include electro therapy to allow the bones to heal quicker. If this was a fragmented break it might take longer but it was a clean break and these heal fairly fast. Keep in mind that he will have some of the best doctors and therapist working with him, then you need to consider that he also has what many consider the best trainers to keep him in shape. One more note Lances goal in the TDF is not to win but to support the team and Alberto C.

According to the latest reports, it was not a clean break, but there were many pieces "like a jigsaw puzzle." So surgery may have been inevitable. I expected Lance to have the surgery anyway, because otherwise he could not count on being healed in time for the TdF. This way he almost certainly will be ready.

Will he win? That's anybody's guess!

Honestly, I don't think he'll be able to win the Tour again. But I'll be rooting for him.
