Looks good! Going uphill? Maybe not... But the type of bike you are looking for is Trek Slash. It can climb, trail and descend! And it's wee bit cheaper than the bike you mentioned. You'd be much better off with a Slash. And it looks better too... But if you're adamant on buying the polygon Collosus, I'd say it's a good bike. But in my choice I'd choose the Slash!

It is a nice all-mountain bike. Uphill will be a bit tough due to the weight and geometry as well as the long travel and no lockout.

NOT a good bike for riding on the road AT ALL.

You can improve speed by improving your own skills.

Its an all mountain bike, so good luck getting up a hill/mountain. The parts are at the higher end so I guess its good quality. Speed, its about the rider because if you don't have the legs to go up a hill or the courage to go down a hill/mountain with out letting go of the brakes, your not going to go very fast.

looks ok

speed is not the concern of a bike like that

ruggedness and low gearing, are

get another bike if you want ''speed''

or work on the engine, even better - YOU
