Just want to make sure. Switching gruppo from 105 to either Apex or Rival. Just got new 105 hubs to build new wheels.

Yes SRAM cassettes are compatible with shimano hubs.

Some Shimano hubs designed exclusively for 10 speed cassettes have deeper splines that will not accept a SRAM cassette. However, most Shimano compatible hubs will accept a SRAM cassette. However, that is not a problem because both companies use the same spacing, so you can continue to use a Shimano cassette on your hub with SRAM components.
