How much to charge for shipping a bike on eBay?

I am going to list a road bike on eBay. I looked at other listings and the avergae price was around 100 dollars for standard shipping. What would be the cheapest way to ship is the US and internationally?

The biggest issue with shipping a bike is the size of the box, not the weight. Bike boxes are large and awkward. The farther you ship, the more it costs. International shipping is much more expensive, it can cost more than twice as much as domestic shipping, plus your customer has to deal with import duties. 100 dollars would cover almost all domestic shipping, at least twice as much if the bike has to cross a border, triple if you ship across an ocean.

Download USPS Shipping assistant. Then you can enter the weight and see how much it will cost. You don't have to pay until you are actually going to ship it.
