If you want to maximise your return on the bike, put all the old parts back on, the new ones won't get you a much better price for the bike. Then sell the new parts individually

$210 if you are lucky. Take original price of around $600. Divided that in half equals $300. Then deduct another 5% per year equals $209.50. All those add on parts & extras add nothing to the value.

You could fix up up a '75 Ford Pinto all you want. It will still be a '75 Ford Pinto. Same theory or principle.

The shocks and tires are nice upgrades. The problem anyone who notices that is not likely to be in the market for a Giant Iguana, which is a perfectly adequate entry level bike. You might be able to get the low 300s for it.

All the changes were cosmetic andis only worth if someone actually like what you got. A bike that old will still need bearings, spindle, cassette, chain, chainrings, head set, cables, pads and rubbers.

Lucky if you get $150.
